· Write and circulate press releases and news briefs to local and national media.
This includes print outlets and national websites and e-zines, with client choosing which areas to target.
· Follow up with press contacts by phone or e-mail and provide detailed report on this to client.
· Promote local or regional CD release parties or other events.
· Write bios and fact sheets.
· Assist in setting up radio and TV appearances, as well as other promotional gigs.
· Internet promotion: Solicit “featured artist” profiles and reviews, and solicit interviews on websites.
· Solicit film and TV placements from music supervisors and publishers.
